We are one of the two companies in this comparison. Everything below about Forever Connected was taken from their own website on 28 August 2026.
Start with the thing they deserve credit for. They publish a storage figure. Almost nobody in this trade does. Most say unlimited, which is a word rather than a commitment, and Forever Connected instead state plainly that a page comes with 250MB of free storage. That is a real number a family can check their own photographs against, and we would rather compare against a real number than an adjective.

What 250MB actually holds
This is worth doing with real arithmetic, because megabytes mean nothing to most people and the answer is not obvious.
A photograph taken on a modern phone is commonly 2MB to 5MB. So 250MB is roughly 50 to 125 phone photographs, before anything else.
Video is the part that changes everything. A minute of ordinary phone video is commonly 60MB to 130MB. So 250MB is about two to four minutes of video, and a single wedding clip could consume the entire allowance on its own.
Whether that matters depends entirely on you. For a family who wants a dozen good photographs and a written life story, 250MB is ample and the difference between us is irrelevant. For a family scanning forty years of albums, or holding half an hour of somebody's voice, it is not.
Ours holds 1,000 photographs, 30 minutes of video and 30 minutes of voice. We are not claiming that is unlimited, because it is not. It is simply a larger published number, and we would encourage you to look at what you actually have before deciding which of us is the better fit.
Their site describes 250MB as the free storage, which implies more can be had. Ask them what that costs before you assume either way. Ours are firm figures rather than a starting allowance: 1,000 photographs, 30 minutes of video and 30 minutes of voice, included in the £70 with nothing further to pay.
Where they beat us
The code can point at an external site. Their site says you can link the QR code to somewhere else entirely, such as a Facebook memorial page. That is genuine flexibility and we do not offer it. If a family already has years of material somewhere and simply wants a plaque pointing at it, they have solved that and we have not.
One caution attached to it: pointing a memorial at a social media page moves the risk rather than removing it. That page depends on a platform's rules, an account somebody has to keep alive, and a company with its own plans. Our own answer to that risk is to let you download everything on the page at any time, as ordinary photograph and video files, and to say in our terms of service what happens if we stop trading: at least 90 days' notice by email and a full download of everything before anything goes offline. Our reasoning on what a memorial should depend on is in how memorial QR codes work.
They ship almost everywhere free. Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and more. For a family spread across countries wanting several markers, that is more useful than our UK-only delivery.
Ceramic tiles are optically excellent. Fired ceramic holds contrast better than almost anything and is effectively immune to ultraviolet, which is why Victorian enamel signs still read perfectly. It is a legitimately good choice and we do not make one.
Composite and ceramic
Their standard plaque is Dibond, which is an aluminium composite: two thin aluminium skins bonded either side of a plastic core. It is a well-regarded outdoor signage material, genuinely rigid, light, and it will not rust. Their site describes it as resisting bending, wind, rain and UV, and that is fair.
The ceramic option has the opposite profile: superb optically and effectively permanent against weather, and brittle. It survives a century of rain and does not survive one strimmer.
Buying in euros from the UK
Worth thinking about before you compare the two prices directly.
€79.95 is not a fixed number in pounds. What lands on your statement depends on the exchange rate on the day and on whatever your card charges for a non-sterling transaction, which is commonly a few per cent. If the site offers to convert for you at checkout, declining and letting your own bank do it is usually cheaper.
The other thing to check is returns. Sending a plaque back across a border costs more and takes longer than posting one within the UK, and which country's consumer rules apply to a cross-border purchase is a more complicated question than most people want to deal with while arranging a memorial. Ask them, before ordering, what happens if it arrives damaged and who pays the return postage.
For comparison, ours is £70 in pounds, free UK delivery, dispatched within one working day and arriving in three to five. Sixty days to send it back for a full refund if the backing is still sealed and the plaque unfitted, on top of your legal right to cancel within fourteen. If it is faulty or damaged in transit we cover the postage and replace it.
Which to buy
Buy from Forever Connected if you want the code to point at something you already have, you are ordering from outside the UK, you like the ceramic option, or 250MB comfortably covers what you have.
Buy from us if you are in the UK and want to pay in pounds with UK returns, or you have hundreds of photographs or recordings of a voice.
Ours is the memorial plaque with memory page at £70, page included. The full field is in memorial QR code companies compared.
